Your job scope:
Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of all LFI quantum advisory engagements, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope
Act as the primary relationship manager between enterprise clients and LFI’s technical team
Ensure engagements - from Quantum Readiness Audits to vCQO retainers - deliver measurable commercial outcomes for clients
Serve as LFI’s first Engagement Manager in APAC, helping establish delivery standards for the region.
Build repeatable delivery processes that support rapid scaling across all service lines
Become the first of up to five Engagement Managers planned in LFI’s five‑year growth plan.
Your responsibilities will involve:
Client Engagement & Delivery Management
Manage client relationships: Lead kick‑offs, track progress, get approvals, and present outcomes to executives
Own delivery across services: vCQO retainers, Quantum Readiness Audits, PROTECT, Hybrid Optimisation Pilots, and INNOVATE and MQS offerings
Manage projects: Keep timelines, budgets, risks, and reporting on track
Coordinate teams: Assign and manage work across internal team and specialists on CloudBench
Manage risks: Spot issues early and fix them with senior leaders - working with the Managing Partner and Principal Quantum Physicist
Commercial Growth & Pipeline Support
Support new deals: Support Managing Partner in scope work, write proposals, and estimate effort and pricing
Grow existing accounts: Spot upsell and cross‑sell opportunities and move clients into ongoing services
Track revenue pipeline: Monitor deals and help forecast quarterly revenue
Build senior relationships: Act as a trusted advisor to VP and C‑suite clients
Create client materials: Prepare clear, business‑focused presentations and reports
Process Design & Operational Excellence:
Improve delivery processes: Design and refine standard processes, templates, and playbooks as the business scales
Manage delivery visibility: Set up project tools and workflows to track all engagements and give leadership real‑time insight.
Client Success & Retention:
Measure client satisfaction: Run surveys, reviews, and NPS tracking across services
Manage client health: Monitor client health indicators and proactively address delivery issues or relationship risks before they impact retention or LFI’s reputation.
Cloud Bench Coordination & Resource Management:
Manage Cloud Bench specialists: Schedule, onboard, brief, and coordinate PhD contractors to meet delivery standards
Optimize utilization: Track billable usage and adjust contractor allocation across projects and regions
Reporting & Financial Stewardship:
Manage engagement finances: Track billable hours, contractor costs, and margins to meet targets
Report performance: Produce monthly dashboards covering delivery, revenue, client satisfaction, and resource use across APAC Portfolio
Managerial Responsibilities
At first: Start as an individual contributor with authority to coordinate contractors and project resources
As the business grows: Manage up to 4 Engagement Managers and oversee multiple projects
Ongoing responsibilities: Be accountable for project profit & loss, contractor costs, and delivery margins
Selection Criteria:
Qualifications:
Requirement: Bachelor Degree in Business, Engineering, Science or related discipline
MBA or postgraduate qualification in project management, strategy, or technology management is highly desirable
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
Experience:
5+ years experience in managing client‑facing projects or engagements in consulting, professional services, or technology advisory environments, ideally with industrial or manufacturing clients
Experience managing enterprise: Proven track record delivering multiple concurrent advisory or consulting engagements for enterprise clients at the VP/C‑suite level, on time, within budget, and to high client satisfaction standards
Skills and Abilities
Project management: Experience in building delivery frameworks, playbooks, and QA processes in a scaling professional services environment
Client management: Able to advise C‑suite and VP stakeholders, manage complex stakeholders, and drive upsell and cross‑sell to client
Commercial skills: Experience with engagement scoping, proposals, resource estimation, and margin management in a consulting or professional services model
Communication: Strong written and verbal skills, able to translate complex technical concepts into executive‑level summaries and client presentations focused on business outcomes
Global experience: Experience working across international markets, ideally APAC and either Americas or EMEA
Tools & systems: Proficient with project management and CRM tools (e.g. Monday.com, Asana, HubSpot, Salesforce) and building lean operational workflows
Startup mindset: Comfortable operating independently in a lean startup, handling ambiguity, building processes from scratch, and managing multiple concurrent engagements
