Partnership Program

Connecting quantum capability to real-world impact

About

Quantum Australia’s
Partnerships Program
brings together quantum companies, researchers, broader industry, enabling technologies, government, and international collaborators.

Our mission is to drive the translation of quantum research and the application of quantum technology by helping organisations understand how quantum and quantum-adjacent technologies can address real-world challenges, and to support the pathways that make adoption possible, including pilot projects, grants, talent matching, and commercial partnerships.

With dedicated Partnership Managers in across states and territories, we act as national brokers, helping organisations scope opportunities, connect with technical and commercial experts, and move promising ideas forward.

The Industry Support Partner Program is an invitation-only initiative for leading organisations seeking early, strategic engagement with Australia’s rapidly emerging quantum ecosystem.

Aligned with Australia’s National Quantum Strategy, the program is designed for global end-users, strategic customers and investors across priority sectors who want to understand where quantum technologies are heading, and how they will shape productivity, competitiveness and future markets.

Industry Support Partners gain direct access to Quantum Australia’s national network, connecting them with world-class quantum research, startups, technology leaders and talent across Australia. Through curated briefings, targeted introductions and early insight into emerging use cases, partners are positioned at the forefront of quantum’s transition from research to real-world deployment.

Participation is limited to a founding cohort of organisations that are actively shaping the future of quantum in Australia, influencing priorities, accelerating adoption and building the relationships that will define the next wave of technological advantage.

The Quantum Australia Ecosystem Map

Australia is home to one of the world’s most dynamic and fast-growing quantum ecosystems. To make our rich ecosystem visible and accessible, Quantum Australia has launched the Quantum Ecosystem Map: an interactive tool to help you find the right partners faster.

Please note that the map is a work in progress. We continue to expand and update the data base, and participation is voluntary, not all organisations are currently represented.

Quantum Industry Series

The Quantum Industry Series is a national program delivered by Quantum Australia to help organisations understand, prepare for and strategically engage with quantum technologies as they move from research into real-world deployment.

As quantum capabilities mature, leaders across every sector are beginning to assess what these technologies mean for their operations, security posture, competitiveness and long-term strategy. The Quantum Industry Series is designed to bridge the gap between advanced science and practical business decision-making, cutting through hype to focus on what matters now, what’s coming next, and how organisations should respond.

Each session is tailored to a specific industry and brings together quantum technology leaders, researchers and senior industry stakeholders to explore commercial opportunities, implications, and realistic timelines. Discussions are framed for boards, C-suite and executive leadership teams, with a clear focus on decision-relevant insight rather than technical detail.

Sessions can be delivered in-person, online, or as a hybrid format, and may be hosted or co-designed with industry partners to address sector-specific priorities.

Organisations interested in hosting or partnering on a Quantum Industry Series session are encouraged to contact the Quantum Australia Partnerships team to discuss options.

Quantum Strategic Briefing

Quantum Strategic Briefings are premium, closed-door sessions designed for C-suite and senior executives who are ready to move beyond awareness of quantum technologies and into informed strategic action.

Delivered by Quantum Australia, these briefings provide a confidential, highly curated environment for leadership teams to examine what quantum means for their organisation — across risk, opportunity, competitiveness and long-term planning. The focus is not on theory, but on decision-relevant insight tailored to the organisation’s strategic context.

Briefings are delivered as either an executive roundtable or a facilitated workshop and are intentionally small and highly interactive. Content is customised to the organisation in the room, enabling deeper discussion, practical exploration of emerging applications, and focused consideration of strategic priorities, capability gaps and next steps.

Designed as a follow-on from the Quantum Industry Series, Quantum Strategic Briefings are tailored for single large organisations seeking deeper engagement. Sessions feature senior experts from Australia’s quantum ecosystem and are structured to clarify the business impact of quantum technologies, support executive-level education, identify relevant use cases, and inform early quantum strategy development.

By creating a trusted, targeted setting, Quantum Strategic Briefings enable senior leaders to engage directly with quantum experts and translate emerging technology into clear, actionable business insight.

Quantum Solutions Workshops

Quantum Solutions Workshops are the route to creating quantum competitive advantage.  Delivered by Quantum Australia,  the quantum solutions workshop brings industry organisations with identified technical problems or commercial opportunities that could potentially be solved with quantum technology, together with quantum companies and researchers to develop solutions.

Designed for single organisations, or a range of companies in a supply chain, the Quantum Solutions Workshop move from early stage discussion of ideas and collaborative opportunities, to development of specific quantum technology projects, through tailored focused, workshops.  By the end of the workshop participating organisations will have a roadmap to quantum advantage through clear steps to collaborative research and development or pilot projects, links to funding and market opportunities.
