Quantum Australia Welcomes ZEISS as an Industry Support Partner
Quantum Australia is pleased to welcome ZEISS as an Industry Support Partner, acknowledging the relevance of advanced imaging, metrology, and fabrication technologies across the quantum ecosystem.
Quantum Australia’s Industry Support Partner Program brings together organisations that contribute complementary capabilities to Australia’s quantum community, supporting connections between industry, researchers, and technology providers. ZEISS’s participation reflects the growing importance of precision technologies that underpin progress across quantum research, development, and commercialisation.
Advancing Quantum Hardware Through Precision Technologies
As an international enterprise in optics and optoelectronics, ZEISS supports the quantum sector through advanced electron microscopy, metrology, and nanofabrication capabilities used in materials characterisation and device development. These capabilities are increasingly relevant as quantum systems advance toward higher levels of performance, reliability, and scale.
ZEISS’s work spans materials characterisation and nanofabrication for quantum computing, alongside broader group-level research initiatives such as the Carl Zeiss Foundation’s Center for Quantum Photonics. Through engagement with Quantum Australia, ZEISS will contribute insight into how enabling technologies support the development of robust quantum systems and connect with Australia’s research and industry community.
From ZEISS’s perspective on the role of advanced imaging and nanofabrication in quantum development, Olena Vertsanova, Business Sector Manager Nanoscience and Nanomaterials at ZEISS, commented:
“We expect that ZEISS electron microscopy for materials characterisation and nanofabrication of novel materials and quantum devices will be essential for optimising performance, enhancing coherence times, and ensuring the reliability of quantum computing systems. We believe ZEISS solutions can play a leading role in the development of effective and scalable quantum computers.” Olena Vertsanova, Business Sector Manager Nanoscience and Nanomaterials, ZEISS
“ZEISS brings capabilities in precision imaging, metrology, and nanofabrication, capabilities that are increasingly relevant as quantum technologies move toward scalable, high-performance systems. We are pleased to welcome ZEISS as an Industry Support Partner and look forward to their contribution to Australia’s quantum ecosystem.” Petra Andrén, CEO, Quantum Australia
Participation in the Industry Support Partner Program does not imply endorsement of any organisation’s products or services by Quantum Australia.
